China's 240-Hour Visa-Free Transit Policy
China 240-Hour Visa-Free Transit Policy
China has introduced a 240-hour visa-free transit policy, which allows citizens from 55 countries to enter China visa-free when transiting to a third country or region. The travelers can arrive through 60 ports across 24 provinces, regions, and municipalities and stay within the designated areas for up to 240 hours (10 days). Foreign nationals covered by this policy may, within the designated areas, engage in activities like travel activities, business activities, visits, family reunions, etc., during their stay periods. Activities such as work, study, or news reporting still require prior approvals and appropriate visas.
