Embark on an 8-day adventure that blends the urban energy of Hong Kong with the colonial charm of Macau, balanced by exhilarating outdoor experiences.
Your journey begins in Hong Kong, starting with the iconic Victoria Peak and a sampan ride in Aberdeen. You will delve into local culture at the Wong Tai Sin Temple and the bustling Temple Street Night Market. A highlight will be the trip to Lantau Island, featuring the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car and the majestic Tian Tan Buddha.
The expedition shifts gears with a full-day hiking adventure in the Sai Kung East Country Park. You will trek along the MacLehose Trail, exploring the UNESCO Global Geopark's hexagonal rock formations and pristine beaches like Long Ke and Sai Wan.
The trip concludes with a day trip to Macau, where you will explore the fusion of Chinese and Portuguese cultures at the Ruins of St. Paul and the A-Ma Temple, before returning to Hong Kong for your departure.

Start our city tour with Golden Bauhinia Square, then the Victoria Peak (include one way Peak Tram Ride), sit on the right of the tram for the best views, and be certain to wait for a clear day to make the trip. Do not leave the Tower complex - which is a little disorientating without riding the escalators to the outdoor observation deck: the views are breathtaking. (Optional: Madame Tussaud US$41/P). After that, visit Aberdeen fishing village (with Sampan Ride), old-fashioned boats which provide floating homes for thousands of people. Taking a ride on one of the boats is a popular activity.
After a local Dim sum lunch, Then shopping time at Stanley Market, where is known for its bargain clothes, and the stalls are as good a place as anywhere in Hong Kong to buy souvenir T-shirts or inexpensive Chinese artifacts and household goods. After seeing the market wander down to Stanley's waterfront Main Street, lined with bars, pubs and restaurants popular with ex-pats.

This morning, we will first go to visit Wong Tai Sin Temple, a Taoist temple established in 1921, is one of the most famous temples in Hong Kong. It is also renowned among overseas Chinese in Southern Asia, Europe, and America.
Then transfer to Tsim Sha Tsui. It is known as the one-stop shoppers’ paradise brimming with both high-end malls and bustling shopping streets. There are also various themed museums that inject a little cultural atmosphere to the area.
This evening, you will have a chance to wandering around the Temple Street. Named after Tin Hau Temple, Temple Street is located at Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon and is a Hong Kong famous open air night market. Temple Street is well-known partly due to the many Hong Kong films set here, including 'The Prince of Temple Street', 'The Mean Street Story', and 'God of Cookery'. Although the street in the film is often portrayed as the home of underworld figures and prostitutes, Temple Street exudes a joyful and welcoming feeling for stall-keepers and tourists. It is known as 'the Night Club of the People'.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel, and take an express ferry across Hong Kong Harbour to Lantau Island - the largest island in Hong Kong.
Get off the ferry, and ride the wonderful Ngong Ping 360 cable car to the Ngong Ping Village from which you will gain amazing panoramic views from verdant terrain, city skylines, Hong Kong Airport even South China Sea. Land the earth at Ngong Ping Village, go to visitthe largest Buddhist temple of Hong Kong - Po Lin Monastery, then take a short trek to see the Tiantan Giant Buddha which stretching more than 111 fee t (34 meters) high and is the largest seated, outdoor bronze Buddha on earth. Just a short walk away is Wisdom Path, where an ancient prayer is inscribed on a series of wooden steles.
After vegetarian lunch, ride a bus down the Ngong Ping Village to explore the Venice of Hong Kong - Tai O which is more than three centuries old, and still retains most of its historical setting such as waterways, stilt houses and fishing boats and its fishing village scenery. Then taking cable car back to Tung Chung Outlet and drive back to the hotel.

The Hong Kong Geopark, opened November 2009, comprises of eight major geological sites and is of International stature. Our hiking tour starts alongside the reservoir, in the Sai Kung East Country Park, and journeys to its easternmost end. From here we view the magnificent hexagonal columnar joints, one of the largest geological formations of this kind in the world. We walk in this area and further around the corner to take in the view of Long Ke. Here we can see how wind and water has crafted unique sea caves along the Sai Kung Peninsula coastline.
An hour later, on the highest point of our hike, we have great views over the whole of the High Island Reservoir area.
The nature path leads us though bush vegetation with different views after each bend. We’ll end our hike at Sai Wan Village at another beautiful beach. Now is time for a swim and a cool drink at the seaside restaurant before we head back to Sai Kung by speedboat.
While on the water, we see more Geopark wonders of hexagonal columnar joints, Sharp Island which is connected by a tombolo to the small island of Kiu Tau, Kau Sai Chau (site of Hong Kong’s three spectacularly sited public golf courses complexes), an island for fishermen's graves, and the inland water dam wall of High Island Reservoir.

In the morning, take a ferry to Macau (1 hour). Upon arrival, go to visit A-Ma Temple, which is the most famous and oldest (built in 1488) of Macau’s Chinese temples, this Taoist building was around before the Portuguese colonisation and therefore has a huge historical significance to the island and its initial religious standing prior to the western colonisation..
After that go to explore Ruins of St. Paul, the most representative scenic spots of Macau, refers to the front of St. Paul Cathedral completed in the year of 1580. Mixing the style of renaissance and that of oriental architectures, the exquisite and magnificent cathedral used to be the largest Catholic Church, known as Oriental Vatican, affiliated to St. Paul College.
After visit, we will move to Senado Square and Macau Tower. The tallest building in Macau at a staggering 338 metres high is an impressive structure that stands tall as a mark of Macau’s willingness to embrace the modern age.
In the evening, take ferry back to Hong Kong, transfer to the hotel and have a rest.

Payment conditions
To confirm your reservation, you must pay a deposit of 30% of the total amount due via the payment link that your local agent will share. The balance is due 30 days prior to departure. The quoted exchange rate is valid for the next 7 days – if the deposit is not paid within this time, the quote will be re-calculated.
Terms and conditions for cancelation
i. Cancellation of the Tour by CAT (local agent):
CAT reserve the right to cancel the postpone tour at any time up to the date final payment is due under the following condition: in our opinion, health and/or safety factors related to conditions in China would make the tour inadvisable. And in this case, all money paid by the participants will be refunded. If the tour is postponed, CAT will offer all those who have signed up the opportunity to have the same tour for a later time, but the price may be changed according to the season. We will notify you of any change, and give you a reasonable period
of time to make your decision. Consumers may, but are under no obligation to, take the tour under these new terms. After final payment has been made, we may cancel the tour only if, in our opinion, health and/or safety factors related to conditions in China would make the tour inadvisable. Since cancellation in this case involves factors which may arise suddenly and are entirely outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest and epidemic disease, we cannot guarantee a full refund in this case. This is because payment will already have been made to finalize the arrangements and reservation.
ii. Cancellation of the Tour by Consumer:
Any cancellation must be made by sending an email to the local agent. The cancellation fee varies according to how many days prior to departure the cancellation is made:
· More than 30 days prior to departure: 5% of the total holiday cost
· Between 30 and 22 days prior to departure : 25% of the total holiday cost
· Between 21 and 8 days prior to departure : 50% of the total holiday cost
· Between 7 and 3 days prior to departure : 75% of the total holiday cost
· Less than 3 days prior to departure and after the departure date: 100% of the total holiday cost
All cancellations must be in writing and will be effective upon receipt by CAT. No refund will be made to those participants who break the journey regardless of the portions of the package unused. If, owing to serious illness or injury, the participant withdraws from the tour, a refund will be subject to the consent of the local travel agent.
No refund will be made to those participants who have failed to secure valid travel documents such as passport or visas.
