ARRIVE IN XISHUANGBANNA (JINGHONG CITY)
You will arrive in Jinghong City in Sipsongpanna. The local tour guide and driver will meet you and take you to visit Gaozhuang Night Market. is located at the large square of the Great Golden Pagoda (Dajin Tower) in the newly developed area Gaozhuang Xishuangjing between the traffic circle of Xuanwei Blvd./Lancangjiang Rd. and the left (north- eastern) banks of the Mekong River (Lancangjiang). The whole area resembles the atmosphere of South-East Asian towns and reproduce “Nine Towers and Twelve villages” from ancient Jinghong. This neighborhood integrates attractions, catering and accommodation as a whole on an excellent level but is keeping relation to its local cultural roots thus is developing its own strong character. There is floodlight after dawn spotlighting nearby buildings, which makes the Dajin Tower taking over the dominant role in the whole overwhelming atmosphere. The floodlight at night is very beautiful.
