There are 9 golf courses in Yunnan Province. Kunming, Dali and Lijiang are the best cities for golf playing. In this tour you will experience Kunming Spring City Golf and Lake Resort including the Mountain Course and Lake Course, Dali Stone Golf Course, Lijiang Ancient Town Lakefront Golf Club (2,400m) and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain golf Club (3,100m) with the highest elevation in Asia. You also visit some of the most charming attractions including Kunming Stone Forest, Dali Ancient Town, Erhai Lake cruise, Lijiang Ancient Town, Tiger Leaping Gorge, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Black Dragon Pool.

  • ARRIVE KUNMING

    Kunming is the capital of southwest Yunnan province and is located in one of the world's most geographically, ethnically, biologically and linguistically diverse regions. Situated at 1,900 meters above sea level and 25° north of the Equator it has a rather unique and pleasant climate for a Chinese city. Upon arrival at the Kunming International Airport, your local guide will meet you, and then drive to visit the Green Lake (Cui Hu) Park, which is one of the most beautiful parks in Kunming city and is sometimes described as a "Jade in Kunming". The park is for daily leisure and playing with seagulls in winter. After that, drive to Kunming Spring City Golf & Lake Resort for overnight.

    In the morning, play golf at the Mountain Course of Kunming Spring City Golf & Lake Resort, a premier integrated golf resort in Kunming, comprises luxury villas and two championship golf courses - the Mountain Course designed by Jack Nicklaus and the Lake Course by Robert Trent Jones Jr. Surrounded by mountains and beside the limpid lake, the Spring City Golf & Lake Resort is one of the most beautiful golf holiday resorts in the world, hence the name of the golf paradise in Asia. Then drive to visit Stone Forest in the afternoon.     In the morning you will play golf at the Lake Course of Kunming Spring City Golf & Lake Resort. After lunch drive back to Kunming and visit Yuantong Temple which is the biggest Buddhist shrine in Kunming. It was originally built over 1000 years ago during the Tang Dynasty. After two restorations and expansions in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the temple took on its present appearance, with covered corridors, bridges and grand halls. After that, visit the Flower and Birds Market in the late afternoon.

  • LAKEVIEW GOLF CLUB KUNMING

    After breakfast, drive to play golf at Lakeview Golf Club Kunming. Lakeview Golf Club has spectacular views of the famous Western Hill which has significant cultural importance in Chinese history, and the Dian Chi (Kunming Lake) which is the 6th largest lake in China and renowned for being the migratory resting grounds of the Siberian Red Beaked Gull and home to many native Chinese Flora and fauna. After the golf, you will drive to visit Yunnan Ethnic Villages and take the chairlift up to visit the Western Hill, which is located at the west bank of the Dian Lake. The hill is set in mountains well covered by evergreen woods and filled with sweet songs by lovely birds. Its luxuriant trees and bamboos set off splendid Huating Temple, Taihua Temple, Sanqing Monastery and the Dragon Gate.

  • DALI STONE MOUNTAIN GOLF CLUB

    Take the morning flight from Kunming to Dali, meet your local guide and driver, drive to play golf at Dali Stone Mountain Golf Club. Located in the perfect union of place and culture, Dali Stone Mountain Golf Club is the first-and currently the only golf course in Dali. Situated to the right of Dali’s famous Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, the Club faces Lake Erhai, with its back to the Cang Shan (Cang Mountains). It is a few short minutes from Dali Ancient City and a 30 minute drive to Dali International Airport .The Club’ s surroundings are characterized by stunning scenery and a pristine environment. After the golf, you will visit the Three-pagoda of Chongsheng Temple, which is a typical historical symbol of Yunnan. It is also one of the oldest sublime architecture in South China. At last, you will visit Dali Old City (2,052m), a historically and culturally famous city of China, which is renowned for its historical interest. During the Tang and Song Dynasties, it was the capital of Nanzhao and Dali Kingdoms, and the political, economic and cultural centre of Yunnan. It is also an important gateway of cultural exchange and trading with southeastern Asian countries, and an important pass of the ancient "Silk Route of the South". It has long enjoyed the reputation of "a land of letters".

  • DALI / DRIVE TO LIJIANG

    In the morning, you’ll travel in the Erhai Lake by boat and visit Jinsuo Island. Erhai Lake is the largest highland lake next to Dian Chi and one of the seven biggest fresh water lakes in China. It means, 'sea shaped like an ear', in Chinese. Implying that the lake is ear shaped and as large as a sea, hence it was so named. The lake covers an area of 250 square kilometers and is located about two kilometers east of Dali. After landing, you will head for Xizhou Town to fully appreciate Bai-style architecture, taste their fragrant three-course tea and explore their distinctive culture. Then drive about 4 hours to Lijiang. You will be free in Lijiang Old Town. Lijiang Old Town has a history more than 800 years; it was listed as the World Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO 1997. Here you will see the wonderful wooden architecture of Naxi ethnic people.

  • JADE DRAGON SNOW MOUNTAIN GOLF CLUB, LIJIANG

    In the morning you'll visit Ganhaizi Meadow, Baishui (White Water) River; take the chairlift to visit the Spruce Meadow of the Yulong Snow Mountain. Looking from Lijiang Old Town in the south which is 15 kilometers away, the snow-covered and fog-enlaced mountain resembles a jade dragon lying in the clouds, hence the name Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. After the Spruce Meadow, you will play the golf at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Club, which is well-known as the highest golf course in Asia. The course is situated in Ganhaizi at the eastern foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The specially designed 18 holes par 72 golf course at 8,548 yards has proved to be a world record. The first 9 holes are totally different from the other 9 because of the physiognomy. The layout fully presents the unique beauty of the only snow mountain golf course in Asia. The Front 9 holes are on a gentle slope while the path is broad and long, the high mountain the lake and the lush hills will make you feel easy and comfortable. The back 9 holes are designed by the shape of the mountain. You will absolutely enjoy your game by crossing through of small wood and springs or even sheer cliffs. You will attend the Naxi Orchestral and Show in Dongba Palace at night.

  • LIJIANG ANCIENT TOWN INTERNATIONAL GOLF CLUB

    In the morning you will head for the scenic Black Dragon Pool and the Dongba Museum to explore the rich Naxi minority culture. Black Dragon Pool is the main headwater of the Yushui River which goes through the Old Town. People believe that the gods of the Naxi people are living in the chestnut woods, beside the mouth of springs, behind the carved doors and below the bridges. In the afternoon you will play the golf at Lijiang Ancient Town International Golf Club, which is located at the foot of Wenbishan Peak, in the front of Wen Hai (Wen Lake), face to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, about 8 km away from Lijiang Old Town. It is designed by Joe Bringer, a famous designer from USA. The Club features an international standard par 72; 18-hole golf course with 7,661 yards of fairway .There is also a 38-tee driving range with lights for evening driving.

  • TIGER LEAPING GORGE

    From Lijiang, you'll drive about 60km to the First Bend on the Yangtze River with imposing gorge scenery, and the Iron Chain Bridge in the Stone Drum Town. The town of Stone Drum got its name from a large, cylindrical, marble tablet shaped like a drum. The scenery is magnificent as the road running through the Lijiang valley which is filled with wheat fields and drying haystacks. Continue the driving 40km more to visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world. With 34 rapids of the Yangtze River, it is called the Jinsha in this area because you can find gold in the river. Afternoon, you will drive back to Lijiang.

Additional details

1. Before you pay deposit to book the tour, we haven’t made any reservation yet. The train, flight tickets and the hotel may different from the itinerary listed.

2. The visiting order of the scenic spots in the itinerary may change according to the traffic condition and other unforeseen things.

3. Tourist insurance is a must before going, please provide us the confirmation of insurance company when sign up.


The price includes

1. Entrance Fees: to scenic spots as listed in the itinerary

2. All the activities fee mentioned in the itinerary: Hutong rickshaw in Beijing; Sichuan Opera show in Chengdu;

3. Private Transfers: Transfers between airports, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing during the trip by private air conditioned vehicle with a driver.

4. Meals: All meals as indicated in the itinerary (B-breakfast, L-lunch, D-dinner), include Peking duck dinner in Beijing; Hot pot dinner in Chengdu.

5. Guide: As outlined in the itinerary an English-speaking guide and driver will be provided in each city, who will remain with you throughout your time in that city. A new guide and a new driver will meet you at each city on your tour, to provide you with the best local knowledge available

6. Hotel: hotel fees are based on two people sharing one room with king-size bed. All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast

8. Please notice that the price will be much higher during the festival of Labors’ Day, National Day, spring festival

9. Tips to tour guide and driver (recommended USD10-15/guest/day).

10. Tourist accident insurance. NB - you are strongly suggested to buy travel and health insurance before you start out from your home country.


Payment conditions

To confirm your reservation, you must pay a deposit of 30% of the total amount due via the payment link that your local agent will share. The balance is due 30 days prior to departure. The quoted exchange rate is valid for the next 7 days – if the deposit is not paid within this time, the quote will be re-calculated.


Terms and conditions for cancelation

i. Cancellation of the Tour by CAT (local agent):

CAT reserve the right to cancel the postpone tour at any time up to the date final payment is due under the following condition: in our opinion, health and/or safety factors related to conditions in China would make the tour inadvisable. And in this case, all money paid by the participants will be refunded. If the tour is postponed, CAT will offer all those who have signed up the opportunity to have the same tour for a later time, but the price may be changed according to the season. We will notify you of any change, and give you a reasonable period

of time to make your decision. Consumers may, but are under no obligation to, take the tour under these new terms. After final payment has been made, we may cancel the tour only if, in our opinion, health and/or safety factors related to conditions in China would make the tour inadvisable. Since cancellation in this case involves factors which may arise suddenly and are entirely outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest and epidemic disease, we cannot guarantee a full refund in this case. This is because payment will already have been made to finalize the arrangements and reservation.

ii. Cancellation of the Tour by Consumer:

Any cancellation must be made by sending an email to the local agent. The cancellation fee varies according to how many days prior to departure the cancellation is made:

   ·  More than 30 days prior to departure: 5% of the total holiday cost

   ·  Between 30 and 22 days prior to departure : 25% of the total holiday cost

   ·  Between 21 and 8 days prior to departure : 50% of the total holiday cost

   ·  Between 7 and 3 days prior to departure : 75% of the total holiday cost

   ·  Less than 3 days prior to departure and after the departure date: 100% of the total holiday cost

All cancellations must be in writing and will be effective upon receipt by CAT. No refund will be made to those participants who break the journey regardless of the portions of the package unused. If, owing to serious illness or injury, the participant withdraws from the tour, a refund will be subject to the consent of the local travel agent.

No refund will be made to those participants who have failed to secure valid travel documents such as passport or visas.
