TRIP OVERVIEW
This Culture Expedition program is designed to make students experience quite different Chinese culture in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, the breath-taking Beauty and deep traditional culture up here. It includes primary school visit; West Lake cruise, Biking along the picturesque causeway, Tie-dye, Baoshishan Hiking, do traditional pottery art, Seal-Carving, learn Magic and Kungfu, and also learn tea making in traditional tea garden as well as final Disco Gala. Pretty fulfilling cultural immersion with fun outdoor activities.
Note: Visiting time, Transporting time, and Duration of shows and Meals in the itinerary are suggested and will be subject to change particular situations.

DAY 01 Home/ Hangzhou (D)
West Lake Cruise (3 Groups together);
• 14:35 Pick up at the airport and transfer to downtown.
• 17:00 Transfer to the pier and take a cruise around the west lake (3 cruises or 1 cruise, 50mins).
• 18:00 dinner at local restaurant.
• 19:30 Hotel Check-in.
DAY 02 Hangzhou (BLD)
8km/3hrs hiking (3 groups together);
Tai Chi or Kungfu, Tea Farm Visiting， Magic Learning;
• 06:30 Get up early this morning.
• 07:00 - 8:30 transfer to West Lake Tiandi to do Tai Chi or Kungfu, learning with professional coaches by the lakeshore for an hour , and transfer back to Hotel at 08:30.
• 09:00 Breakfast.
• 10:00 Visit the Tea Museum and get an idea of the tea culture of China.
• 12:00 Taste the Longjing tea and Visit a Traditional Tea Farmer House, know the way of making tea.
• 13:00 Picnic lunch at a nice place.
• 14:00 Hiking Around Tea Garden area, Longjing Villiage to Bamboo Forest, enjoy the tranquil atmosphere that surrounded by diverse flora. (Approx. 3 hours)
• 17:00 Transfer back to the hotel and have a rest.
• 18:30 Buffet dinner at the hotel.
• 19:30 Learning Magic with magician, everyone is supposed to learn 3 different little tricks with their own props (about 1 hour).
DAY 03 Hangzhou (BLD)
biking in Xixi National Wetland Park (Group A);
Seal Carving， School Visiting, Sport Activities;
• 08:00 Breakfast.
• 09:00 Group A will do Biking in Xixi National Wetland Park. Learn Seal Carving for an hour and make one on our own. (Note: Group B will do this on Day 05, Group C will do this on Day 04.)
• 12:30 Lunch at restaurant.
• 14:00 Primary School Visit. Chat, having lessons and do some sports with them (2 hrs).
• 17:30 transfer to a local restaurant to have dinner.
• 19:00-21:00 Transfer to a indoor sport center to do Sport Activities in the evening.
• 21:00 Transfer back to the hotel and have a good rest.
DAY 04 Hangzhou (BLD)
45mins Baoshishan hiking (Groups A);
Learn Tie-Dying in China National Silk Museum, Hefang Street Shopping, Disco Night;
• 08:00 Breakfast.
• 09:00 Group A will visit China National Silk Museum, which is the first state-level professional silk museum in China as well as the biggest silk museum throughout the world, and learn Tie-Dying. After that, we will take Baoshishan Hiking (45mins) for a panoramic view of the West Lake (treasure hunt for back up option in case of bad weather). (Note: Group B will do this on Day 03; Group C will do this on Day 05.)
• 12:00 Have packed lunch at a nice place. Transfer to Hefang Street for a whole afternoon Shopping there.
• 18:00 Final Buffet Dinner at the hotel.
• 19:30-21:30 Disco Night at the hotel.
DAY 05 Hangzhou / Home (BL)
Southern Song Dynasty Guan Kiln Museum, Traditional Pottery Art, Plate Painting;
• 08:00 Breakfast and check out the hotel.
• 09:00 Group A will arrive Southern Song Dynasty Guan Kiln Museum to witness countless fantastic pottery and porcelain. Built over the remains of Jiaotanxia Official Kiln, the museum displays the products of the official kilns of Southern Song Dynasty, highlighting their charm and delicate beauty. Afterwards, Making Pottery yourself at Pottery Bar and also Plate Painting for about 2 hours. (Note: Group B will do this on Day 4; Group C will do this on Day 3)
• 12:00 Light Lunch.
• 13:00 Transfer to the airport and flight back home.

The tour cost includes
- Entrance fee to all the resorts and interesting places.
- Service charge and culture activities fee.
- A professional leader for the activities.
- Cruise in Hangzhou.
- All activities fee.
- All the food listed in the itinerary (some picnic lunch while hiking).
- Indoor sport centre rental fee for one night.
- One bicycle and helmet per person for 1.5 hrs.
- Travel insurance.
- Four nights accommodation fee: 4 star hotel in Hangzhou.
- Transportation fee for the five day (2-3 buses upon figure of the participant).
The tour cost does not include
- Any personal expenses such as laundry, drinks, fax, telephone call.
- Doctor with the group.
- Other activities not mentioned in the itinerary.
- Cost for pears or other fruits you take away.
- The extra cost due to the unforeseen events.
- Personal travel insurance.
- Any airfares and tax involved.

- Nov. is one of the best season to do outdoor activities. However, the outdoor activities (especially biking) might be influenced by bad weather.
- If you sign up with less than 80 persons, we reserve the right to rise up the cost.
- Leave nothing except your footprint, take nothing except photograph and garbage.
- All the participants will learn to take care of themselves and help each other outdoor. Be sure behave as an team and follow the instruction from the tour leader.
- Very important: When you sign up for some outdoor activities like hiking, Bamboo rafting, you acknowledge that there are risks involved in this sort of activities and confirm that you are fully aware of and accept these risks. You may or may not be required to sign a separate acknowledgement and acceptance of personal liability by the local supplier before being allowed to it. And if you are not allowed to do the activities because you refuse to sign, you will have no claim against CSH or the supplier and will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.
- We reserve the right to alternate the visiting order of the scenic spots in the itinerary according to the traffic condition and other unforeseen things.
