TRIP OVERVIEW
Huangshan City is located at the southernmost tip of Anhui Province. It is a region with a long history and splendid cultures. Since using Huizhou as its former name, the city is famed for the ancient Hui Culture, including Hui businessmen, Hui carvings, Hui architecture, Hui cuisine, and Hui Opera (one of the tonalities of Beijing Opera).
Tour the ancient Hui style villages which are relatively untouched by the modern world. Amazed by the fascinating bamboo forest and learning bamboo weaving by hand with local villagers. One of highlights is hiking on Mt. Yellow (Huang Shan), China's most picturesque and famed mountain. It has served as the inspiration for artists, poets, dreamers, and romantics for thousands of years.

DAY 01 Arrive in Huangshan (D)
Activities: farm working
Arrive in Huangshan, Anhui province, meet Huangshan guide in train station. Directly transfer to Xuanyuan Farm, learn to make bean curd, experience the process of oil, and pick vegetables etc. Huizhou ancient rapeseed oil squeeze method is a Chinese traditional manual craft. In the late afternoon, you will be transferred to Tunxi Ancient Street. There you can enjoy a leisurely walk among the ancient buildings and look around to search for a bargain.

DAY 02 Lingshan Village / Back to Tunxi (BLD)
Activities: tea picking, school visiting, bamboo carving
Following breakfast you will make a short drive to visit Lingshan Village. Walking on the Lingshan Ancient Water Street, which is 3 miles long and 1 meters wide, paved by the blue flagstone, you will be amazed by the big bamboo groves surrounding around the village, which is also called Lingshan Zhu Hai(Bamboo Forest). In the village you will know that each families can make exquisite bamboo basket, bamboo hat and dustpan etc which is one of the highlights of their traditional lifestyles. Then try to experience the process of picking tea-leaves with the locals.
In the afternoon, visit a local school to communicate with Huangshan students. After that, go to the Bamboo Factory to experience the process of carving bamboo.

DAY 03 Hiking in the Yellow Mountain / Hongcun Ancient Village (BLD)
Activities: hiking
After Breakfast, drive for one hour and 20minutes to Yellow Mountain. Located in the southern part of Anhui Province, the Yellow Mountain is undoubtedly China's most celebrated mountain for all its grandeur and beauty, which was declared a World Natural and Cultural Heritage in 1990 by UNESCO Heritage Committee. The round trip cable car is included. During the 10 minutes cable car journey, you will enjoy the magnificent scenery. The guide will accompany you to visit the highlights of the Yellow Mountain, such as North Sea and West Sea area, where you can appreciate the breathtaking scenery and photograph the seas of clouds, peculiar-shaped rocks, verdant Pine trees, and rolling mountains, and then, take the cable car to go down the mountain.
Then drive to Yi Xian (Yi County) to visit Hongcun Village which enjoys the reputation of 'a village in the beautiful Chinese picture' because of its location at high altitude and being shrouded by clouds and mist. It is one of the most representative local-style residences in southern Anhui Province.

DAY 04 Treasure Hunting in Hongcun / Hongcun Cycling Tour / Depart from Huangshan (BL)
Activities: treasure hunting, cycling
After breakfast, you will deeply experience the life of Hongcun by interesting Team-building. From the interesting treasure hunting game, improve your skills of communication and teamwork.
One of highlights today is that you will biking along the Hongcun Ancient Pathway to listen to the sound of nature for about one hour until reaching some villages and a reservoir with breathtaking views nearby.
After lunch in local restaurant, drive to Huangshan North Railway Station, take the high-speed train to Beijing.

- Travel Agency's Liability Insurance for the duration of your tour within China.

The tour cost does not include

phone calls and excessive luggage charges, favorite snacks.
- Personal items: like raincoat; cap; camera; sun-cream; sun-glasses; pocket knife; day-pack, hiking boots, etc.
- Visa fees.
- Meals that are not indicated in the tour itinerary.
- Gratuities to guides and drivers.The suggested amount is CNY60-80/per person/per day for the guide, and CNY30 for the driver to be given separately. But of course, a more generous offering is always welcomed if you are exceedingly pleased with their services.

- The outdoor activities might be influenced by bad weather.
- All the participants will learn to take care of themselves and help each other outdoor. Be sure behave as an team and follow the instruction from the tour leader.
- Leave nothing except your footprint, take nothing except photograph and garbage.
- Very important: When you sign up for some outdoor activities like hiking, Bamboo rafting, you acknowledge that there are risks involved in this sort of activities and confirm that you are fully aware of and accept these risks. You may or may not be required to sign a separate acknowledgement and acceptance of personal liability by the local supplier before being allowed to it. And if you are not allowed to do the activities because you refuse to sign, you will have no claim against CSH or the supplier and will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.
